Forced worship. Is this Prophetic?
As we look into the book of Daniel, we see a dream that was interpreted by Daniel in chapter 2. This dream starts with Babylon and extends to end of time. As a summary of chapter 2 we see Babylon as the head of gold, another kingdom of silver, another of brass and 4th of iron and then we see the clay and iron mix in the feet to which then we see a rock cut out without hands that smashes the statue.
In chapter 2 alone we see alot of symbolism involved but Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon is named specifically as the start of the prophecy.
In chapter 3 we then see forced worship of a full golden statue as Nebuchadnezzar tries to defy the dream he had before which Daniel interpreted. Why is forced worship wrong?
In chapter 7 we get more details about this same prophecy but with animals instead. To understand the symbols we have to remember that in chapter 2 the prophecy used metals as kingdoms and now we see in chapter 7 animals (Beasts and horns) are used for kingdoms and also the individual heads are also kingdoms.
So how does this work?
A beast is a kingdom/nation, and each head is also a kingdom/nation and each horn is also a kingdom/nation. Are there many kingdoms within a kingdom?
Daniel 7:17 These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth
Daniel 7:24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.
In history we know how Babylon was a great kindom and after them the Medo-Persia empire came to rule, Greece and then Rome. We also see in history how the Medo-Persia was a joint union, Greece fell and the 4 generals took over and Rome's fall we see 10 generals that took over what was left.
In history we see this, and with prophecy we see this as well. But let's try and focus on that Little Horn.
This Little Horn came up from the 10 horns of Rome, the 10 generals of Rome.
This Little Horn plucked 3 horns in its rise into power.
Little Horn has eyes and a mouth.
Little Horn was more "Stout".
Little Horn made war with the saints.
Daniel 7:20 And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look (H2376) was more stout (H7229) than his fellows.
What do we see in history? We see Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece and Rome. We also see how Rome then had 10 generals who took over when it fell, and as many want to claim they brought Rome down, we find out that Rome fell from within. Yes due to many other things like war but mainly from within and no other kingdom/nation took its place but the 10 generals.
What Does this have to do with Sunday worship? Or any forced worship?
Without knowing the history of the nations and the prophesies of them, we won't know much of the "Why" it has came to be? And also we need to remember how to interpret symbols found inside the Bible. Once we learn something about this, then can we know where it came from. Not just the Sunday Law but the enforcer of it, as each nation/kingdom has thier own laws that they have made, some laws are good and some are bad and some laws go against God and force us to disobey God. Render to Caesar which is Caesar's and to God that belongs to God - Matt 22.
Matthew 22:21 They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's.
So far we have gone thru part of the 2300 year prophecy found in Daniel, there is much more but I'm not going all the way thru, just enough to the Little Horn power. This Little Horn we see comes from Rome, the 10 generals of Rome, genocided 3 horns/kingdoms/generals and achieved power to rise up and dictate to others, and also what we see if when nations have too much power, they can also give themselves more power.

When a church has the Monopoly on Salvation, what abuse of power could that church do? When even a king has to obey the all mighty Pope-God, ... or lose his Salvation ???
Altho these links make mention of a later time, you can find out more on how excommunication works inside the Religious organization when even the kings do want Salvation but the organization has the Monopoly on Salvation and "Authority" to deny you heaven if you don't obey the organized Religion, aka Papal Supremacy.
But how did this Little Horn power get such power?
Constantine is where we look right? Some dude with alot of power turned Christian?
At the Council of Nicaea in A.D. 325 Roman Emperor Constantine and the Catholic Church established Sunday as a day of rest. And at the Council of Laodicea around 365, the Catholic Church made it illegal to “Judaize” or be idle from work on the seventh-day Sabbath.
These changes were accepted by what had become the majority of Christianity, but scattered and persecuted groups of Christians continued to observe the seventh-day Sabbath and other teachings of the early New Testament Church. Another Mark
For many years, Herbert W. Armstrong clearly proved that the mysterious mark of the beast in Revelation 13 refers to this most prominent of signs: Sunday worship.
There are many links that do talk about this and no, not all links are SDA. Why is that? I thought only SDA was the only ones preaching Saturday over Sunday? This is a lie straight from the devil which majority of people are led to believe, as there were many churches before SDA was created who honored the 7th day Sabbath over Roman's Sunday worship (8th day Catholic creation).

Could it be that the SDA's, before they were created, where a bunch of people from many other denominations who were separate from the Roman Catholic Church when the Reformation was bringing out truth from the Bible that the Roman Catholic Church was withholding from the public before the Roman Catholic Church wanted to keep the Monopoly on Truth and Salvation etc???
This is not a post attacking the Roman Catholic Church specifically, for this organization has done alot of good things during its reign. Roman Catholic Church has created many hospitals and schools and helped the poor and etc etc, ... this Religious Power has done more good than anyone could count. But, ... so did Hitler???

So yes, the Roman Catholic Church has done alot of good things just like each and everyone of us, but as a nation, an "Authority" figure, one who makes laws, if such an nation/organization/etc makes such laws that go against God and His laws, are we to follow blindly without question??? Answer: A. The first Pope did not exist until 606 AD! (over 500 years too late) This is far too late because Christians were meeting on Sundays from the earliest record of history. So Ellen G. White is a false prophet!
Did we not just see how a Seventh Day Baptist who were created before SDA were keeping the 7th day over Sunday? Be careful when you goto these types of websites yes, as we should discern properly and rightfully each website out there (even the links I provided) as all must be questioned but not blindly believed without further investigation correct?
Many attack SDA, but they also forget where SDA came from. Came from many other churches just like how Protestants came from Roman Catholic Church??? All denominations came from the Roman Catholic Church did they not? Slowly but surely did certain people risk their lives and died to translate the Bible in thier time because of why? Cause the Roman Catholic Church did not want anything out there to the public, to the poor without thier "Approval" and even then was not the Bible written only in 1 language and chained up to the pulpit?

Tho this does help on how on learning something new about the Roman Catholic Church but don't get me wrong, I am happy there is a Roman Catholic Church for yes they have done alot of good on Earth, ... I am not Anti-Catholic, ... I am Anti-Beast system.
The Roman Catholic Church is the Little Horn power, a beast system, and prophesied by the UnBunkable book of Daniel written long before Jesus was born, and so we must investigate this, investigate prophecy and go where Truth leads you correct?
Daniel 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
What does it mean to speak "Great things against the most High"?
What is Blasphemy?
Wear out saints of most High?
Think to change times and laws?
And the saints will be given to Little Horn for time (1 year), times (2 years), and dividing of time (half year). 3 1/2 years?
This verse in Daniel 7 is talking about the Little Horn power, and how it will rule for 3 and half years (1260 Prophetic years) and changes times and laws while speaking great things against the most High. What do we see in history?
We see how the Pope claims title of head over church and even claims to be God on Earth does it not?

And so when a man has such "Authority" over the church, wouldn't you believe that it could possibly be corrupted?

In summary what have we read so far?
We've read that yes:
Forced worship has been done thru Nebuchadnezzar
And after the Roman Empire, the Little Horn power has changed times and laws declaring Sunday as the day of rest over 7th day Sabbath
The Pope is head over church and has all "Authority" to do as he pleases
This is pretty much (Summarized) all I've said. Alot of links and some information to consider, but what does any of this have to do with Forced Worship? Think about it for a moment, a human with alot of power can be corrupted, and a system (a beast system (Little Horn)) is not of God nor does the will of God.
Where in Bible does it say Satan wants worship or forces worship?
Revelation 13:7-8 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. [8]And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
Revelation 13:15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
With these 4 verses we see how those without the mark will be killed and in chapter 14 we see how God's people hold the commandments of God and faith of Jesus. The beast will kill those who don't worship him (Rev 13:7-8).

The devil wants your worship for he wants to be like God, sit on throne of God proclaiming he is God.

Satan wants to be God without all the "Love" God is and has and shares to all. Satan wants everything about God in the sense of "Authority" and power. According to the verses (Rev), this is reflecting Papal power and end time events, both. A mark of beast post/research is going to be needed to see the connections and see the whole picture, this post is mainly rough draft to hopefully encourage you to investigate the matter and help you ask questions you might of not of thought about asking.
When Satan desires to have worship, he will also tare apart the Sabbath, the sign between us and God and this will be what Revelations is talking about when the beast will make war with the saints/remnant. Those who follow God and obey His commandments will be what is at stake throughout all time especially end time.

So if forced worship happened in the past, and Revelations talks about it in our future coming soon, what makes you think that the Sabbath day is not an issue? And so I encourage all to review and examine and place all provided links under "Scrutiny" for further investigation. And if you goto a Sunday church today, question that church and find it in the Bible where it is commanded by God/Jesus for us to obey? And no, breaking bread everyday as the disciples were going from house to house does not make everyday a Sabbath for this Sabbath is a day of rest to honor and worship the Lord God who created all things. But that is another topic for another post which needs to be evaluated again.

A other off topic question: Is this in Revelations saying that Jesus is first and last, Alpha and Omega, a God claim?
